TEDxChange 2012: The Big Picture

We were very pleased to be one of the official sattelite events for TEDxChange 2012: The Big Picture!

TEDxChange 2012 is a TEDx event co-organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and TED. Convened by Melinda French Gates and hosted by Chris Anderson, TEDxChange will focus on issues surrounding global health and development. TEDxChange type events are TEDx events hosted around the live webcast of TEDxChange, and also feature local speakers. Our event is called TEDxCalgary, and is one of many TEDx events happening around the globe that will expand on the ideas brought up at TEDxChange 2010.

 

Event Details

Our event was held on Tuesday, April 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and presented an archived version of the main event webstream from April 6th. Over 120 participants and guests were registered, and we thank everyone for their interest!

We were pleased to hold this event at the Cantos Music Foundation`s creative space, a unique venue for helping us think deeper about the issues behind TEDxChange. We thank their event team for all their support, and greatly encourage everyone to give them a visit when you can!
